Monipur High School & College is a secondary school located in Dhaka City, Bangladesh. Monipur High School & College is also known as Monipur Uccha Biddalay Ebong College (MUBC). In 2007, 2008 and 2009, the school ranked 3rd and in 2010 & 2011 the school ranked 6th and 7th in Secondary School Certificate examination under Dhaka Education Board.[1]
Monipur High School & College secured the 2nd position in [2] in terms of securing highest number of first divisions in the primary terminal examinations across the country. A total of 1,516 students achieved first division from Viqarunnisa Noon School and College while 1,126 from Monipur High School & College and 962 from Ideal School and College.
Six hundred fifty two (652) students scored A+ (or GPA 5.0) in 2008 & 556 students achieved the same in 2009,placed the school in top three in Bangladesh's GPA 5 based schools ranking. The school has been consistently an excellent performer in Dhaka Board's SSC examinations since its inception.
It is one of best schools in the country and sheer demands to enrol more students forced school authorities to open two more branches in Dhaka city while the main campus at Monipur, Mirpur with its decade old tradition continues to lead from the front line when it comes to academic excellence.
Monipur High School & College has achieved 2nd place in recently published results of the evaluation examination of class Eight held under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education this year.[3]
Monipur High School opened it's college section in 2008. The college section is situated at the Ibrahimpur branch of the school. In recent years, the college section is also a growing part of Monipur High School, where about a thousand students currently read.
Since its inauguration in 1969, it was crowned twice as the best school in Bangladesh. Mr. Shekh Shabdar Ali, ex-Headmaster played a pioneering role in improving the School's quality of education to a great extent.
Some 25,500 students, boys and girls, are currently studying at Monipur High School & College.

Viqarunnisa topped the list of highest GPA-5 achievers with 887 students achieving the feat followed by Ideal School and College with 745 students.
Motijheel Model High School from Dhaka with 450 students and Collegiate School from Chittagong with 363 GPA-5 students secured 4th and 5th positions respectively.
